LIGHTING
LED:
Light emitting diode, or LEDs, are a low voltage sign lighting choice that comes as a string of modules. LEDs emit more light with less energy which means lower energy cost to operate. They’re also very reliable due to their simple design giving them a higher life expectancy. With LED lighting there is less maintenance, due to their simple design. This option is best suited for channel letters and small displays.
LEDs come in a few colors such as blue, yellow, white, and red. There are various forms of LED modules as well, from water proof to “bulb pack” style modules. RGB LEDs can be set to any color, or changed in a series or pattern via programmable controllers giving you even more control over your signage.
FLUORESCENT LAMPS:
Fluorescent lamps are the most cost effective solution for large faced signs. The lamps and fixtures are relatively low cost for the light output. They also have a relatively long service life, and low maintenance cost. Fluorescent lamps are best suited for pole signs and box sign cabinets. Although there is still much reason to use fluorescent lamps in large faced signs, there is gaining momentum for converting these signs to LED too.
NEON:
Neon is the classic choice for sign lighting and are unique with that unmistakable glow. You can achieve a unique look that draws attention with that unmistakable glow. Neon tube can be formed to any shape which is great for logos and letters. With a variety of vibrant color choices, from magenta to electric green, neon remains an excellent option for sign lighting. Neon can be used as a building accent, in channel letters, or as stand alone signage.

FACES
PLEXIGLASS is a weather resistant plastic sign material. It resists fading and comes in avariety of colors. Plex is best used in smaller faced signs where there is less chance the sign may receive a physical impact. Plexiglass works very well for channel letters & smaller sign cabinets and it comes in a variety of thicknesses.
POLYCARBONATE or Lexan is a very durable rigid face material that works best for larger sign faces or faces that need extra strength from breaking. These faces are decorated with colored or printable vinyls & then given a UV Laminate. Polycarbonate can be routed to any shape.
LOW COST SUBSTRATES:
Corrugated plastic, foamcore, and banners are a few low cost sign substrates that work great for indoor, or temporary signage. In combination with our direct to surface printing we are able to offer low cost signs that are full color and photo quality, giving you the freedom to create exactly what you are looking for.
FLEX FACE is the best choice for large face signs. The material accepts a Solvent ink that is printed on by our in-house printers. Where our method is better than most, is through our reverse side printed graphics. This prevents your sign colors from washing out giving more vibrant colors when illuminated from inside. Flex face sign faces given a UV protective coating for protection from the sun and weather.
METAL & PVC:
For sign panels that need to withstand the weather we offer aluminum, steel, and pvc in varying thicknesses. These faces are suitable for interior and exterior use, and can accept full color printed graphics or pressure applied cut vinyls. When these signs are used outdoors we give them a UV protective coating. Because these materials are rigid they can be routed to a specific shape.
UV PROTECTIVE LAMINATES
Our laminates are top quality protective films that prevent harsh UV rays from damaging or fading your sign.
Lamination is used to cover an image, photo, poster, banner, or sign in order to protect and preserve the product. Regardless of the type of lamination you choose, all of our protective measures will prolong the life of your product, protect the image and text from fingerprints, smudges, pollution, and weather. It also enhances the image itself by making the surface more uniform, and increases the gloss, matte, or texture of the product.
Prolong the Life of your Product
Laminated products are easier to handle for pop-up booths or rolling, and are much more durable for reuse. We use two main methods of lamination for our products: cold laminates and liquid laminates.
COLD LAMINATES:
Cold laminates are pressure-applied films that are used on the majority of rigid face materials that need to withstand the weather outdoors. Cold lamination is a soft-effective method for smaller items, or for items that may only need lamination on one side. Paper, vinyl, and other sign materials work particularly well for cold laminates. Our cold laminate also protects against UV damage and moisture, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications.
LIQUID LAMINATES:
For our flex face sign materials, we use liquid laminate that is cured on the face material through heat. During the liquid lamination process, a resin material is changed from a liquid to a solid through the use of powerful UV lights that coat the final product. This method of liquid lamination is cost effective to protect the image and make a uniform finish. It also increases the colors so they appear more vibrant and rich.
UV coating has become more popular because it can be altered to create a gloss, semi-gloss, or matte finish. Liquid lamination is the preferred method for large products, or anything that will be installed on a curved surface. Our UV coater used for liquid lamination is the best in the industry using only the highest quality materials to create a superior finish.
